Leaving My Agency Job
Leaving my agency job
It’s been three weeks since I left my agency job with the highest of hopes to begin my new solo career in design and advertising. I left my position as Lead Web Developer because I wanted to gain experience in two things:
One, leadership
and two,
Time
At JP, both of those “skill bars” [@Bryan)] were not going up PLUS the growth rate not very promising either. Soooooooo…
IT WAS TIME FOR A NEW CHAPTER IN LIFE!
My Motivation
Warning: This may feel like a mid-life crisis rant. Read at your own peril.
My biggest fear is to look back on a lifetime of missed opportunities. I want to live an exciting, brave, and adventurous one. So:
In March I decided I needed to turn the page and start a new path in my career. I didn’t know where exactly I was going to go or how long I would be able to sustain my finances without a salary, but I did not want to waste anymore time overloaded and stagnant.
ONWARD!
